spaceageclockwork-deactivated20 asked: HEY
yes we do have a farmer's market! There are actually two that we went to today. Canino's is in the Heights and it has a lot of produce, and the Highlands Village one has a bunch of goat / organic / vegan products. I bought some kombucha there, and we also had really good tamales for lunch. I highly recommend visiting either one if you like exploring!

“You’re obnoxious and disliked did you know that?”
“I hadn’t heard.”
That movie is like three and a half hours long and I love every second of it.
Even though it is like ridiculously historically inaccurate.

I have to read on average 80 minutes a day of this one book for the next 3 weeks for this one class.
Except for on the days when I’m writing two papers about the book.
Oh yeah, and then there are those other 7 classes that I’m taking.
I was having breakfast at Starbucks this morning and there was this homeless kid...

'The Inner Light' should have been a two-parter
I just rewatched it, and I liked it more than the first time; however, in order to accept The Inner Light as OMG ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES EVERRRRRR is to accept the following:
I can be emotionally connected to and understanding of Captain Picard’s second life even though fifty years is played out in about thirty minutes, with the gaps in between each scene being a minimum of five years.

Semantic satiation →
readmorewikipedia:
Semantic satiation is a cognitive neuroscience phenomenon in which repetition causes a word or phrase to temporarily lose meaning for the listener, who can only process the speech as repeated meaningless sounds. For example, say: “smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile….”.
WOAH. OH MY GOD.
